Does anybody know the exact procedure (mean the real life procedure) to change the timing belt of this truck.
yesterday, I spend a whole day trying to put the exact timing marks and tension ....and really its Mission Imposible using the procedure of service manual.

Yes buddy ....the video its really usefull...... but the most important part its missing. its the part when align the marks and tensioning the belt.
when i try to put the belt between cam sprocket and their are perfect align, the belt have a little slack. if, i try to tension a far i can to match tension and marks... its not possible cause look like needed one more teeth.
my best aproximation its 2 mm offset on right cam procket.
at this moment im waiting for the special tool for tensioning.

Start at the crank the on to the drivers side cam sprocket keeping it tight go around the water pump making sure not to wrap the belt on the lip of the pulley, next the pass. side cam sprocket you will have to tug the belt slightly and kind of squeeze the belt on to the gear. there should be no slack between the cam sprockets. finally wrap around the tension pulley and install adjuster. apply a small amount of silicone sealant to the threads of the adjuster bolts they also hold the oil pump in place and you don't want a leak.

heyy buddy ....the best aproximation its 1 mm off lineup. when got exact timing marks lineup, the belt its too tight and adjuster pin do not rotate free. i thinking maybe there something wrong inside or some of the parts. someone else with the same experience?

i suspect of the water pump idler. does anyone know what its the diameter in the original mitsubishi water pump???
