So about 3 weeks ago after my exhaust pipe after the muffler rusts off I go underneath my truck to discover two of my leafs on the passenger side completely split apart and were just kind of resting in there. I think to myself "now is the time to get new leaf packs from OME!" Fast forward 2/3 weeks later the local shop (1 hour away from me) gets them in, I head there today to get them installed and to my surprise they only have 3 actual leafs in them...VERY thin ones at that! Well knowing the quality of ARB/OME I brush it off. They spend a couple hours installing them and give me my truck back and lo and behold it is actually sitting a good 2-3 inches LOWER than what I went in there with....huh?? Well at this point I'm out of time and need to head back home; I speak with the tech about getting the add-a-leaf...shouldn't really need it considering these are brand new. After my drive home I stop off at a Wal-Mart to get some things. I go back out and look at the rear leafs again, and the driver side is ALREADY starting to invert. Now understand this is un-laden, my rear seats removed and only half a tank of gas...completely unacceptable!! no?! I spent the rest of my drive home bouncing down the highway on my overload leafs since that's where the suspension is now sitting. Anybody else have experience with the OME/Dakar leaf springs? I have the local shop sending off the pics to an ARB tech to see what the heck is going on.

Shouldn't there be some clamps on the ends of the smaller pieces. Or they should be on top of the main bit. Doesn't look like they are providing any tension. Only thing supporting the weight is the main one. If that makes any sense. I don't know mine has coils so don't have one to base it on. Just something doesn't look right.
