Hello..wanted to introduce myself to this community. I am a Mitsu guy, and have owned over 11 Mitsubishi's. From my Username...I have a soft spot for Galants and currently own a 1991 Galant VR4 and a 1996 Galant that is prepped being my road course car with a 2.4L turbo 5spd. My dad owns a 2003 Montero Limited and my sister has owned 2 Mitsubishis and currently a 2012 Lancer GT
Mitsus I have owned/own:
-1995 Galant S
-1995 Galant ES
-1997 Galant ES
-1996 Galant Turbo 5spd (current)
-1991 Galant VR4 1948/2000 (current)
-1999 Galant ES
-1991 Mirage Hatch
-2004 Endeavor XLS
-2005 Lancer Evolution
-2002 Montero Limited (current)
-2001 Montero Sport XLS (current)
I had a 95 Galant as my daily driver but with 2 kids and planning on starting a business next year, I needed something more practical to haul the kids around and other uses I will need a SUV for. I was shopping for a Montero Sport for almost 6 months looking for specific models and features and one w/o any rust issues. I was lucky to find the one I bought because it was serviced ALL its life at Mitsubishi dealers and maintenance done on scheduled time. Exterior is in amazing shape for its age and the interior looks literally brand new. Mechanically it operates flawlessly and smooth.
Here are a couple pics of my Montero Sport.
Here is a pic of the previous owner sent me prior to purchasing it:
