Hi my name is Lindsey Sciacca. Here's some pics of my Montero from last weekend out at the dunes. It's been an awesome project and it just gets better and better with each new addition. Hope you guys enjoy. Comment if you have any questions about it. Attachments:

Nice sport. I like the desert/prerunner style front bumper. I assume you had a shop make it for you? Also what lift/how did you lift it?
Guessing you're a poly student? I grew up in slo

I grew up in slo Thanks man, yeah I do go to Poly! I actually fabricated it myself this past winter; yeah I really like the prerunner style look on it. I have the OME 2" suspension lift, and then another 2" body lift. I really want to somehow get like a full long-travel suspension in it or something, but for now this is all i can do, which I'm still happy with. It actually really works well offroad, surprises me more and more each day

It actually really works well offroad, surprises me more and more each day I'm sure you could have a shop fab up some longer a arms and extend the axles, weld in a limit strap and put some reservoir shocks on it. Problem is it'd be totally from scratch as I've never heard of a long travel monty sport so it'd be real expensive. Might be able to adapt something like a 95-01 explorer 4x4 kit but those kits without shocks are $2500 so you'd be looking at around probably $5k total for the front and then would need some custom Deaver springs and shocks for the rear so another $1.5-2k. You should look into just having a reservoir shock fab'd in as a properly tuned shock would make a huge difference without even having to change travel. There's some shops in SLO like Poly Performance that could probably take care of that for you. I'm looking at getting a sport soon (reliable and stoutly built) but my first love is ranger/explorer prerunners(weak 5 speed trans on the v6 and timing chain issues, good v8 drive train but have awd t case and 2wd are close to impossible to find) so I'd love to see you combine the two.

I love my monty but it definitely could be better. Yeah I'll have to look into some shops around SLO and see what could be done. I'm in Poly Goats, the 4x4 club at Poly, and I know a lot of them are familiar with Poly Performance so we'll see. Either way I'm definitely happy with how far it's come so far.
