Looks nice! funny how some people want to get rid of the 2 tone and i added it to mine since it was all black I just want the dang nose to not be all be the 2nd color! Plus I was not digging the charcoal with white... So I stayed 2 tone, but took it black... I think the black and white pops more for mine. Ties it all together... Factory: my revamp: Another picture update for anyone following along. Bumpers/Rockers are Rhino Lined, next up, finding the cheapest set of black wheels and 32" or 33" tires I can get. Cheap black wheels... see 2nd pic above and side shot below... painted my factory ones black with a body colored keyed (white) lip...

Sorry, guess I forgot to mention I updated the original post. Pictures are at the bottom of it showing some of the prep and final product. Trying to keep the pictures in a single post.

I've been considering just painting my factory wheels, and you may have just swayed my opinion with that post lol. What kind of headlights are those? Did you get factory black grill and light bezels or did you paint them as well? My grill and headlight bezels were chrome, I painted them with black plastidip and then added a bit of texturing from a DIY bedliner in a spray can. Did the same thing to the large rear reflector. Used the plastidip basecoat just in case I didn't like it I could just peel it right off. Still need to black out the Mitsu emblem on the front grill. May bite the bullet and peel and respray with regular black paint, like the way your grill and headlight combo looks.

When you removed the amber front side marker/turn cover, did you use a more orange/amber bulb? Was wondering what or if there are laws for turn signal color.

How hot did you run the oven? And for how long? 250 degrees. 10 minutes initial bake to soften the glue. Then back in as needed for 5 minute increments to re-soften glue... its a balancing act between too hot to handle versus softening the glue enough... It took me a few tries to get it pried open. I decided to err on the side of caution and go slower versus faster and crack something. I probably popped it in and out of the oven 3-4 times till I got it fully open. The hard part is controlling the glue... it's mess. I tried to keep it contained to the edges that met as you want it there to reseal. so no cleaning the stuff off and reapplying. Just keep it in its original locations best as possible so it will reseal. to reseal... line it up close and back in the oven to soften the glue then press back together. When you removed the amber front side marker/turn cover, did you use a more orange/amber bulb? Was wondering what or if there are laws for turn signal color. I actually left it with a hyper white bulb, but it looks amberish next to the headlights. I like it more on the white side. No cops have said anything. But you can totally swap over the an amber bulb to mimic the factory style.
