You are doing some awesome work! LOVE IT! And going to lengthen the rear stabalizer links about an inch. Driving with the wider stance even higher is so much more stable then stock. How much wider is the stance then stock? Have you lengthened the rear sway links yet? If so... how much longer did you go? Where did you source the link? In other words, was it a simple parts store find or something you had to get at the hardware store, or order online? Some of you may get a kick out of the added puddle lights. Where did you source them from? Been thinking about doing some myself... once the truck is running right again!

In other words, was it a simple parts store find or something you had to get at the hardware store, or order online? Even a little wider track makes a HUGE difference in stability. There was a test done years ago during the Firestone/Exploder fiasco that showed the difference even 1" wider or so makes and the taller the vehicle the more dramatic the change. I understand the dynamics but I was still surprised at the difference 1" made when I changed rims on the big Sport a couple years ago. redraif, you wouldn't have a problem widening yours with the 2" body lift on your Sport. Others need to KIM that pulling the wheels out means they could impact the fenders, flairs, or inner fender skirts, or all of these when the wheels are stuffed. Also, it will increase tire wear and wear on the steering components and wheel bearings somewhat as well as affect steering behavior. The end link bolts are all that need to be changed. A reputable bolt company should have grade 8 metric bolts and nuts in an appropriate length. I do mean a company that sells bolts, too, not your local hardware store or Home Depot. A lot of hardware coming from China to be sold in general hardware stores and home improvement shops is garbage. These get a lot of stress and you don't want one of them breaking on a hard corner. Thanks Edward... There was a true bolt shop in an industrial area by the house. Just hope they are still around. Back in 2000 or so I had to deal with them... Years ago I got replacement specialty bolts for the firebirds spacers. The manufacturer forgot to mention anti-seize on the spacers where the 2 pieces bolted together. These spacers both changed offset and changed lug pattern. 2 piece design... This was my first leap into the world of modifications just after college (97). Learned a valuable lesson about aluminum and steel and how they like to form a permanent bond with one another. These guys were the only place that could match up the bolts. Countersunk with allen head... Spacer company did send out a whole new set of bolts though and a complete apology for not including that bit of info in the directions. AS for widening the stance on the sport... That will mean spacers or a long wait... 5 new rims are not in this trucks near future... LOL! It needs plenty of other stuff first. And I know you are not a big fan of spacers!

Thanks Edward... There was a true bolt shop in an industrial area by the house. Just hope they are still around. Back in 2000 or so I had to deal with them... No worries! Yep, we have AAA here. Metric bolts in a zillion sizes. Very handy! Mine is a '68 so no weird bolts. Replacing those body mount bolts was still a huge PITA, though. For me, long before I did spacers, I'd do custom rims. I know a very few guys that run spacers because they have no choice, and a lot of people that use to and pulled them off because of problems. Custom rims aren't cheap but good spacers aren't either. A good set of custom forged alloy 17"x8"s with 33"x12.5"s. Mmmmmmm! Edward

Before anyone asks, it's because my winter tires I purchased were for the stock 16s, and won't fit on the 17s. And I can say the Falken Wildpeak AT3s are good in the snow, did good in slush even, but compared to a straight winter tire that is a touch narrower there is a noticeable difference. And on Ice it is night and day. The ATs had very little on smooth ice.

If you have custom painted caliper or nice rotors, the 3 spokes look nicer IMO. Also easier to clean lol

Nah just stock brakes painted black lol They are easy to clean but they make the truck look old. My mechanic has a gen 2 Montero with those same wheels and I know that if i ask him for a swap he would say yes but i would have to give him some cash

New pictures coming soon, have completed making the front calipers and brackets blue. I created and installed new wheel well liners. I swapped to elongated blue sheathed braided stainless steel brake lines. Installed new stereo system. Inside only have a little bit to black and blue. And on the exterior it's getting down to the big 3 left, rockslider/sidesteps, and both bumpers. Rock sliders first, then front bumper, rear bumper last. And if vehicle holds up and money/time permit a nice custom roof rack.

It was like 150 shipped to my house, was only available in tan, or black. I got the black and had it painted blue. European lights can be made to work, and can add running lights linked to your Accessories for signal? My spoiler that I am getting ready to put on is from outside the US, don't remember from where LOL. My brake lines were from Great Britain Along with my transfer case extension. My shocks and springs are from Australia, I know you can get Bushskinz skid plates etc out of Australia too.
