Hey everyone, I'm a new member here looking for some help on my 2002 montero sport. My turn signals no longer come on when I flick the stalk up for right and down for left. I checked the passenger fuse box for a blown fuse but it appears to be in working condition. Is my next step to replace the stalk itself? I found this thread from a while back and it appears to be easy enough for someone like me who is relatively inexperienced with car maintenance. Otherwise, I am pretty sure the lights work, as the both arrows light up on the dash when I turn on my hazard lights. I also recently had my cracked radiator and thermostat replaced along with a new AC receiver/drier/pulley installed, but I doubt those should affect my turn signals. All feedback and suggestions welcome.

If the lights actually come on but don't flash it's the relay/flasher. Located above and behind the the fuse box. Don't remember which one it is though.

It's a common problem with the switches apparently. My Monty didn't have working turn signals either, did a quick google search that took me here, the switches go bad. I replaced the switch (or stalk) and all is well.
