Thank you Edward! No worries! Cover shipping and I'll be good! I need to stop by the dealership tomorrow morning to take a look at the engine bay on the '99. I'll find out when he'll have it back up then and let you know. Edward

Ya, but this is the smaller of the two FRONT plates.

I'm interested in the front fog lights and mounting parts (maybe the entire fascia). Does anyone know if a non-fog light fascia can be cut to fit fog lights? Or do I need to get the fog light fascia too?
We get socked in with fog at times. Fog lights are more of a necessity than an option. Being a volunteer FF and EMT causes me to be out in some thick stuff. So far I've not found anything in a wrecking yard that hasn't already been badly crunched.

Hey Edward... the flooding on our road tore off my drivers side mud flap... It went down river...
are the 1999 and 2001 style interchangeable. I assume yours will go ByeBye? I keep mine on while we street drive to keep the tire sling down, but will remove for off-roading, now that I see how easy they rip off... LOL!

I don't know. I've never had to replace one so I don't know. That's interesting. I wonder if it wasn't bolted on right or completely? I wheeled my '97 for a couple years with the stock flaps and only knocked one of maybe twice. But, that was in 2-3' snow and it only happened in reverse when the snow would push the flap up against the lugs on the M/Ts. Just picked it up and bolted it back on when I got home. Anyway, I'd planed to keep those for spares since the other two are both 'wide' models. Sorry. Edward

no worries... figured I would ask... Honestly I think there is a part broken on the body, not in the well itself. If I remember right... the part where the inner most part of the flap attaches on the body is damaged... like nothing is there to mount it to... you can see its a bit crooked and stick out in this pic from when we first got it... guess the water was just too much for it

Edward, I am perhaps interested in the transmission/transfer case. My MS is also a '99 but with the 3.0 motor - same model trains and transfer case. Is the bolt pattern the same for the 3.0 and the 3.5 with this transmission? I am located in the Phoenix area and could probably do a road trip up your way for pickup.

Red, there may be a nylon clip that sits in there to receive the bolt. EDIT: Actually, it looks like the bolt goes directly into the splash shield.. will have to pull the bolt and look!

Here's a pic from the FSM, although it doesn't show that clip. I'll check mine tonight.

The bolt pattern is the same on the engine. I have a '02 3.5L engine on a '97 3.0L 5-speed M/T. As long as that's the same model transmission/t-case, it'll bolt up. Yea, pick-up is good. That's gonna be one heavy assembly. Provided things go well this month with repairs on my big Sport, I'm planning on pulling the transmission and t-case next month. What kind of time frame do you have? Edward

Red, I have #1 in my garage, just pm an address. The other part is an inner fender liner. And only 1 of 4 boltscrews goes into it. Its to the left...
