I am going to be reinstalling these hopefully this weekend. This served 2 purposes, one because they had a little bit of surface rust on them, and figured powder coating would last longer then spray paint. Secondly to see how this color combination would come out, since this is what I want to try on my rims when I put the new tires on in a couple of months.
This is 2 coats of gloss lack, with 2 coats of a blue tinted clear-coat with blue metallic flake over that. In the shae it looks black, in the light or in sun you can actually see the blue tint a little, and the blue metal flake really pops. Pictures do not do this justice. I can not wait for my rims to be done. Currently he has a few other pieces he is doing for me, (my new trailer hitch, metal bar over the battery, and a brush guard)
First one shows it in shadow looking black, second one was indirect sunlight just to show the metal flake.
