I was getting an o2 sensor code, bank 1, sensor 2, so I purchased a new one, put it in and got the same code, my mechanic buddy with a better scanner than mine told me he was recieving no activity from that sensor. I figured I got a bad one so I brought it back and got another. Same issue, no activity, so I began thinking it was the connector or harness, so I checked the harness found no breaks, but the connector looked a bit corroded,.. so I hard wired the O2 sensor..... Same condition, no activity. What next,... is there a fuse on the O2 curcuit somewhere ? Not sure where to go next. Any help greatly appreciated.

Check to see if there is voltage on the wires and connector before the actual 02 sensor assembly. The actual engine wiring harness. Its also possible to have a bad sensor. I would double check with Ed too. Good to have another opinion.

Thank you,.. someone said something about a fuse for the O2 sensor,.. but I cant fine one. No fuse. First thing to test is from the pins at the PCM harness to the O2 sensor plug under the vehicle. There was an issue on some Sports of the harness wearing through between the PCM and sensor plug. Edward
