Exactly, mine too.

Hey guys I'm about to order the O-ring and new water pump gaskets just in case and was wondering how I should go about seating the heater pipe into the W.pump housing? Should I remove the intake manifold to allow better access or is there an easier way? I tried just wiggling the w.pump housing onto it and applying brute force to it but I guess it didn't seat correctly. How is this properly done? Edit: Nvm, just went through the thread that jkdv8 linked earlier on in the thread. I guess I'm going to order intake/plenum gaskets too.

Is it a leak on the throttle body hoses? Lots of heat and usually overlooked.

Is it a leak on the throttle body hoses? Lots of heat and usually overlooked. No coolant is leaking from the top or rear of the engine, If I shine a light down into the "V" of the engine from above the thermostat housing I can see it flooded with coolant. I have checked everything so far and the only explanation I can find is that O-ring has failed or the pipe is not seated right inside the water pump housing, coupled with the fact that I tried to put the w.pump housing back on without taking off the plenum and intake manifold means the heater pipe is likely just not sitting in there right.

That oring is really anoying to place correctly and needs a lot of removal and work to access it... Just for the talk i had also a problem with waterfalls that i could not find why and it ended up to be that small valve on the radiator cap. We spent a lot of time trying to find the resaon removed this cap hundreds of time (you know how it goes you take it off place it somewere close without paying atention to it) until we had a closer look at it.

Other than removing the plenum and intake manifold what other steps could you recommend I take to insure that pipe sits in there right? Should I attach the pump housing and then try installing the heater pipe so I can press it in there easier or should I completely remove the heater pipe and pump housing and do it that way?

So I've removed the plenum, intake manifold, and pretty much everything from the front of the engine down to the timing belt etc and discovered that the pump is leaking coolant from the weep hole so now I have to replace the pump already/redo timing and everything. I also confirmed that the heater pipe O-ring is no good.

Yow. Well at least you found out while the truck was at home.

Yow. Well at least you found out while the truck was at home. This is true however now that this issue popped up I won't be able to go to work for a few days till the new pump comes in. After scratching my head for awhile last night, I noticed that I kept hearing a steady drip of coolant every other second and stuck my head down the pass. side of the engine and saw coolant running off that side of the engine and dripping off the oil pan gasket rim. I traced the slow/steady flow to the back of the pump housing, I think I have a damaged gasket or something which is contributing heavily to the issue. Good thing I'm ordering a new pump, It'll come with the gasket I need.

I had been going crazy trying to figure out how coolant could be leaking off the pass. side of the engine and at one point I literally thought there may be a crack right along the cooling channel that runs through the block or something until I noticed some peculiar action going on. The coolant was draining out of the weep hole channel and instead of dripping off like normal liquid would do, it decided that running along the underside of the lip would be dandy and then does a wall ride around the back of the pump housing and runs halfway down the housing and wall rides again then falls down onto another small lip that's built into the block which then flows down onto the oil pan gasket rim and finally drips off the engine. I uploaded a picture that I edited in MSpaint to show how/where the coolant was draining. Attachments:
