I thought they were Montero springs. Am I missing something.

Before and after... installed the full Monty springs, 1.5 inches shorter LOA but 30%+ stiffer raised rear to almost 38'' Same dimensions/spring rate as OME.... Tried this once and phone died as i hit create.... Ok wait.... let me get this straight... You used full size Montero springs on a sport? It raised it how much over the stock height? 2 inches like ome? What size tires on there now? What year full size did you use and what trim level??? Do i remember you also used full size torsions? What year and trim did those come from? Cause if you are esentially building OME lift out of OE parts... i'm so in. I can totally rob from a junkyard. Been having good luck as of late. If i can score a susp lift at pull-a-part $... wifey will not say no! Wifey is finally letting me out you the yards again. Only 3 weekends a month with the grandson now.

looking at how slim the OEM looks infront of the other ones (which ones are those?) it looks like they are soft by default hmmm..... Those are the factory springs, I just removed. Nothing wrong with them, I just wanted OME type springs. which are the ones you bought? OE? what does that stands for?

? You are danging the carrot just out of reach! I asked, but you have not said??? What year & trim level is the full size montero that will actually work to lift our sports? Is it the same one for springs and torsions? You gave me 4x4 but thats all... lol Just need to know what to even search for in the yards...

As for searching cross compatibility to lift sports with other folks coils.... i was searching & researching for months before I chose between doing the body lift versus suspension first. 4x4wire.com expeditionportal.com And here Had to keep it on a low budget and keep it within my mechanical abilities. All my cash was going to getting it running right. So body lift was the cheapest and easiest for me. But the suspension lift was on the list still. Anyway, in all my searching and questions and research here and on the other forums... there was tons of info for the full size, but nada for the sport. Was told they were different beasts no cross compatibilty. Most of the info was regarding the leaf set up. IIRC I think ?nissan patrol? factory springs lift the full size like ome... or the spacers for them work. Its been too long ago and it was not suposed to be viable for the sports... so... my memory has faded... problem with having a bad thyroid. My memory is slipping and they have not figured out how to help the memory enough yet... the days of my steal trap brain and the ability to absorb and draw corelations has gone bye-bye... So if you figured it out after i couldn't... i'm so in awe. Everyone gave me the blind eye when i was trying. And from what Ive seen you doing... you have a mechanical mind set i was never taught. Problems with self taught mechanics. You rock sir!
