It is a dark inside, and i would like to change the broken ones. (Will take picture in the night).
And second, any ideas how to and what to add?
Thinking of, for example led strip in that box under radio or small leds in A/C controls to go off with low beam...

If you want to go LED this is what you will need: Gauges and map reading lamps on the roof console as well: there are 4 bulbs on the gauges and 2 on the console and require T10 size LEDS The warning lights, HVAC, Gear selector and ignition ring require T5 size. I didnt replace the warning, just the HVAC (2 LEDS), shifter (1)Ash tray (1) and ignition light (1) *Note: The side bulbs on the stop lights, the license plate lights and the third brake light can use T10 LEDS too, but if your truck has ABS it could mess it up so you better check that first. If it has ABS leave the third brake light with regular bulbs. The brand I used for T5 in that picture suck pretty bad, they all blew out in like a week so you better dont buy that brand. The T10 ones havent had an issue at all.

Remember LEDS do have polarity so if they dont light up turn them 180 degrees and try again.

You are welcome!
indeed, you wont need a lot of LEDs to make it look like you want. I bought a 50 LED bag thinking I would beed a lot of them and I still have a few after installing them in everything and all the vehicles I can hahaha
Just be careful not to break anything when diasembling the dash front plate and gauge cluster. the AC control ones are a bit of pain to reach but can be done with a pair of long pliers if you dont want to take the whole panel apart.

Has anyone else done this? I have a 03 MS and I just pulled the cluster out and it clearly has many more bulbs than what was listed above and it appears there may be at least 3 different sizes. I think I want to replace all the bulbs on the cluster. Can anyone confirm the sizes?

I think I want to replace all the bulbs on the cluster. Can anyone confirm the sizes? It has 2 sizes. the 4 big ones light up the gauges and the rest of small bulbs are the warning lights. 4 big ones are T10 and the small ones T5 if you replace the small ones the colors will be off, the red lights will end up pink and the green gear selector will look pale blue, I already tried and personally, I didnt like it. Ive also read that some of those dont like to be swapped for LED in some vehicles, for example the high beam indicator in Fords.

I appreciate the response. You say the small ones are warning lights however it would seem that some of the small ones also are for the gear indicators. My "D" is burned out. So this would be a T5?

Yes the small ones are gear selector, and turn signals, warning bulbs etc. I switched all of mine to blue LEDs, the ABS, Brake, and a couple of others didn't take well to the swap. They would remain illuminated dimly even though there were no problems. So I swapped them back. I can see where the brighter/whiter LEDS could throw off the color seen through the filters. By going blue they all look pretty good, except the bright indicator that was already blue ended up being way too bright. I ended up swapping about 4 or 5 total back to normal bulbs. .
