Real name is Eric. I'm in Carrollton, TX. Lived in Dallas all my life, except for the 11 years I spent in Lubbock part of which I went to and graduate from Texas Tech University. BBA Marketing. I'm 29 years old, married 4.5 years, 2 year old daughter and twins in the oven due Jan 17, 2005.
Wife's vehicle is the Montero Sport, so no "serious mods" to it, just some custom sheet metal work and skid plate "re-working" from taking it off-road a couple times, the rest of the mods are in the sig. ARB Air lockers to come soon front and rear.
I've gone back to school after being in sales for 8 years to get my teaching certificate and teach highschool math while working on my masters at night to teach college math.
My vehicle is a 2002 WJ Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. This one is completely built, next step would be axle swaps (to stronger 3/4ton or 1ton axles) and a long arm lift, with extensive cutting of the wheel wells to accomodate 37" tires. (already trimmed parts of the rear fenders and rolled the edges and repainted.

Hello, people! My name is Yannick, I live in Quebec (Canada)... yes, I'm french! I'm pushing 30 and am not married, but almost; I've been living with my "significant other" for the last 7 years. We have a 1 1/2 year old son and we should have another boy at the end of january, plus I have a 12 years old son from a previous relationship. We will see, but there is talk of trying one more time for a girl... ;D We have a 03 XLS with the 3.5l that we bought the day I tried to fit my son's stroller in the trunk of my Civic... Last year, we bought the 40,000$ MS and our house @ 140,000$, so no mods on the MS YET. However, you know what they say... good things come to those who wait! First plans for the MS, in order of priority: 265/75/16 Pirelli Scorpion AT or Michelin LTX AT front and rear lockers OME 2" lift

Hello everyone My name is James Lodge and im 21 years old. I have a 1998 Montero Sport. Overall I am happy with my truck, but because it was designed so that even a simple spark plug change costs am arm and a leg, I probably won’t buy another one when mine finally craps out. Originally from San Diego, I am now a broke student attending Chico State University in Northern California. I appreciate the DIY tips on this site. Thanks guys!

Hi...my name is Zdenko...I go by "Z" 33, male, live in Southern Cal (about five months now). I spent the last five years in Oregon. I work for Best Buy as a trainer. Interests are wine and cigars. Currently trying to keep my MS alive...shes only four years old but she gets around (148,000 miles and running well). I am also a car audio hobbyist and used to be an installer. This has taken a back seat in recent years as I have taken an interest in home theater. I have a gas powered RC car that is a hobby but hasnt been fired up in a couple years and well....yeah...thats it.
Its good to have found a MS forum again and even better to see some familiar screen names from the old MS Garage.

Hello All. Matt from Indianapolis here. I work in used oil analysis. Think you may have head gasket leak? injector leak? Want to "see" the condition of the inside of your engine? tranny? diff? Want to confirm the findings of your local mechanic? That's what I do. I make maintenance recommendations based on oil analysis results. Think of it as a blood test for your car. I do this for industrial equipment as well as automobiles. Been involved in this field for about 16 years now. Former diesel mechanic by trade. I've got my hands in quite a bit of stuff...I am putting together equipment to start making my own biodiesel fuel. I am planning to convert a 1991 Jeep Cherokee to a diesel, I have several sports car projects that will be fitted with a diesel engine and run off of biodiesel. These will be used as educational tools at car shows, colleges, high schools, etc. I'm also a member of Pennock's Fiero Forum as I've owned 7 of these little cars and am currently in the process of restoring the one that I will keep. It too will be receiving a diesel conversion. If anyone knows where I can get a GM 4.3 diesel, please let me know. As for the MS-- I own a 2001 MS LS. My wife and I bought this new from the dealer. I just rolled out of my 60k warranty as of today. I've already used the info. from this board a few times. Great knowledge here. I hope I can also be of help to others. If anyone has access to the diesel engine that Mitsubishi put in these overseas, I'd love to get my hands on one and convert the MS also. Thanks for reading.
Matt

Hi everyone, my name is Edward, I'm 34 years old, married with 4 children ranging from 12, 10, 8 and 3months (2Boys/2Girls). I grew up in Miami Florida and recently moved to South Jersey. I hate the cold. (Wifey choice!) When it comes to cars, I'm an amateur but I'm able to fix when directed in the right direction. I have been in the banking industry for the past five years. I love to read and spend time with my kids. Like Joel, I owned a 70 gallon tank Aquarium. I had my MS since 98 and never had a major problem with it. As a family man, I could tell you this car is really reliable. I tend to fix it a little just to please.

Hi all, im Oskar im 28 & originally from Panama City, Panama and just recently moved to pricey and confusing VA after completing my 8yrs of very rewarding Army service as a Blackhawk Helicopter Mech. (many deployments later and 1 combat tour are plenty action for ones lifetime but no regrets would do it all again if asked to do it). Now I am an FAA licensed Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (aircraft mech for short) working on the Border Patrol aircraft which are varied from jets to turbo props to helicopters (i prefer the helicopters) i share the same mentality that Joel has about customer relations and i enjoy very much teaching fellow techs and pilots as well about the systems we routinely work with. (keeps my life simple if they can accurately tell me whats wrong or at least get me going on the right direction.)
