Does anyone know the physical location of Oxygen sensor 2 Bank 2 on a 2001 Sport XLS 3.0L?

If you have a check engine light indicating a problem with the rear O2 sensor of your vehicle- there is a TSB requiring a reflash of the PCM. Replacing the rear o2 without the reflash will likely only temporarily band aid your concern. Not that this TSB will also resolve a few drivability issues as well as your O2 sensor problem. Bring your vehicle in to your local dealership and see if they will perform a goodwill reflash for you in exchange for your purchasing the O2 sensor from them. This reflash is likely only coverd for 8yrs/80K miles to which i'd expect you have exceeded.

Thanks Jay! I did call the dealer and they said a diagnostic would cost $92.00 and the repair anywhere from $300.00 to $500.00. I have exceeded the 8yrs/80K. I just paid nearly $2,000.00 for the 120k maintenance last February. They did get that stripped bolt off for me and replaced the rear cam o-ring seal.
