Enjoy! Please do not post this link on other boards. If I get too much traffic I will take it down. On a completely different note, does anyone know what the normal fuel trim readings (both LT and ST) for a 2000 Sport are? chicagoautohouse.com/montero_manual/pagero.zip

Edit to my previous post... my manual is missing a PDF for the transmission. I messaged Ebay seller to hopefully get it. Will post if I do.
Kampster, it says your compressed file is corrupted....

I have the folders containing Montero Sport service manuals - seems to be 2003 but I was told they are valid for 1998-2003. I would be happy to burn onto CD for mailing if anyone still needs this material.

I have a manual for a 98 Pajero saved as PDF files. The manual has 25 chapters & all will open fine expept for the most important one, ENGINE. Here are the chapters -
1. General 2. Engine (will not open. says "File is Damaged" but I do have 1 for year 99 if that helps) 3. Engine Lube 4. Fuel 5. Engine Cooling 6. Intake & Exhaust 7. Engine Electrical 8. Engine & Emission Control 9. Clutch 10. Manual Transmission 11. Propeller Shaft 12. Front Axle 13. Rear Axle 14. Wheels & Tires 15. Power Plant Mount 16. Front Suspension 17. Rear Suspension 18. Service Breaks 19. Parking Break 20. Steering 21. Body 22. Exterior 23. Interior & Supplement Restraint System (SRS) 24. Chassis Electrical 25. Heat, AC, & Ventilation
I can email 1 chapter @ a time or if anyone can tell me how to post the entire folder I will do that. About 15MB total. Send me a PM. I don't check the site everyday so don't freak out if I don't respond right away.
peace

thanks for the workshop manule and trans but this stuff has very little info. but it is good to have at least something on the monterosport its certainly not useless but sure is nothing like a real service manule that shows you 1000`s of diagrams and removal procedures. Everyone that promised to send me a copy of there manule had let me down and failed to produces anythang. I know some of you got the cd on ebay what dose it cover and dose anyone have a copy they can try to share with all of us? ?? I cant not beleave we havent came up with some good info . I blame my self for being a cheap as$ and not just buying the ebay cd my self

the workshop manual is the cd?? are you seriouse im glad i did not buy it/.. come on i admit there are some usefull stuff on it but it dose not even cover a chapter of a real service manule. can you verfy the cd`s title and where it was bought from. dose anyone have a true service book that covers step by step installation and removal with diagrams. Im looking for something that covers the entire engine with diagrams of everythang something like in a haynes or chelton book but more extensive like a dealer ship book

I think that the manuals available here and on the CD are the only manuals that I have found for the Montero Sport. There are no Chilton's or Haynes manuals for this vehicle that I have been able to find. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. I bought one of the CD manuals off of ebay and it was the exact same one that can be downloaded for free from the sites listed above.
I can understand some of your disappointment in the manual because I have always been able to buy the Haynes or Chilton for the cars that I have owned. They are way more 'step by step' than the official service manuals that are really meant for trained mechanics. If you ever find anything like you're looking for let me know.

There is a Russian version of the Chilton manual for the 'Pajero Sport' Although it is in Russian and would require a complete translation. :/ I contacted Chilton repair manuals about this and got no response. (That was back in March of this year I believe)

I really don't know why you would want a Chilton or Haynes if you have the factory Workshop Manual. It covers a lot more.
A buddy of mine has a 4Runner and I just found him the factory manual on the Internet. He was so happy with it that he threw away his Chilton.
