I Think this has been asked before, but i cant seem to find the posts
My cigarette lighter and power outlets are not working. The fuse for the cigarette lighter was blown and I was able to replace it. But still my cigarette lighter outlet doesn't work.
Now I'm trying to get to the power outlet fuses. Its suppose to be inside the dash. Any one know how I can get to it? From the manual it looks like its behind the drives side vent... Do i have to take the vent off?

My cigarette socket works. The outlet by the handbrake on the center console and the rear one by the right of the tailgate is also out.

Unfortunately not yet. I'm glad at least your cigarette socket works. Mine is not working at all. I'm hoping for someone to give me some info on how to get to the fuse that is located inside the dash for the power outlets. I will let you know if i find something.

don't count this as certain, but i thought the fuse for these items in the engine bay, above the left tire. there are fuses you can get to under the dash, not in, you just have to jam you head down by the brake pedal and you can see a box, plus there are a few fuses above that box. not hard to get to. i really think the cig lighter fuse is in the engine bay.

HI 45calmike
I followed this procedure and was able to fix it. The fuse was blown and I just replaced it. However i had the take off the dash piece below the steering wheel to get to the fuse. It has 4 bolts and the piece will come off. Even after that one will need small fingers to access the fuse. The fuse is inside the cover, as shown in the picture. All you have to do is push the bottom part of the cover and push it up and the cover will open. After that its just a matter of replacing the fuse. Good Luck!
