Eaton M90... wonder if it's much faster?

The light came on after the 50 to 90 run. It was random misfire but I think i need to replace the plugs. Will prob advance the timing from 2* retarded when I do the t-belt as the truck seems to fall flat at the top. As for the Eaton, it will be faster because in those runs I had a passenger and was not using my 100 shot. I will do a 100 shot run when the weather breaks. The biggest difference is once I shift to 3rd the spray keeps it pulling to fuel cut (~110mph) like it did up tp 65.

That 0-60 time didn't seem very good for the 3.5 and if that's your montero CWIC I would've thought it would be way faster according to your mods. Does the misfire affect it that much? I'm not trying to hate on you or anything, I just thought you'd be somewhere around 7-8 seconds 0-60 with those mods.

The 0-60 was around 11 sec which when you do a horsepower calculation for a 4660lb truck is about right. To get into the high 8's i would need about 220hp to the wheels which I have on spray but I was not using it. The calculator on this site says a 4660lb truck that can do 17.5 in the 1/4 is pushing about 170hp to the wheels which my last dyno showed so it is pretty close to where it should be but there is deffinatly room for improvement. I think the plugs are a little worn but I have not noticed any constant misfire I just get the cel on occasion and it is still clearing itself.

I was thinking the same thing about how fast the supercharger makes it. I will have to post an acceleration video also. Mind if I post it here, Clay? Let me know when you do one on the juice.

This should be as good a place as any to post a vid. I will have the truck back at the shop when taxes come back and will have new non-spray and spray vids once it is tuned along with an update in the dyno section. I plan on retarding the cams 1 past TDC.

OooH I love the way our engines sound. It's amazing how often I turn heads with just a short ram installed. xD

Yea they create a nice note for a V6. Adding an exhaust helps a great deal.
As for the videos, I realize they're a few years old so it may not matter anymore, but the freewheel clutch not disengaging is costing you power unless of course you did the Aisin swap. Not a bad run though.

That transmission was in bad shape when I got rid of it. No way did I try the aisin swap as I did not know it was possible. You are the first person to mention the freewheel clutch.

That may or may not have been the case but is typical with the flashing 4wd light.
