get steel spacers , i think are more reliable people will say that steel is to heavy.. i say that it is worth for the safety the main problem will be with the way the brakes fell

Ah, OK. Found some Rugged Ridge wheel spacers. Double the price. Is that really worth it? This truck sees little trail riding so I don't think they'll be put under high pressure.

most of the tension is when you break hard, that is when you will fell the car act different .your peace of mind worth the steel ones..

I have the same ones off ebay. Same price as well, just torque them right with loctite. Not recommending them but I have no complaints so far.

Had them for about 8 months and 3k miles. darkside....what's the thickness of your spacers, 1" or 1.5?.....Just want to know which one should I buy since I want the spacers to be flushed and wouldn't require cutting/trimming of the stock logs of an 02 Montero Sport XLS. Thanks!

I have the 1.5 and it gives it a nice aggressive look. But if you want to go flush, go 1 inch.

16x8.5 265/75/16 Cooper a/t wheels are a new one. 110 mm bore

Bd, your rig is friggin awesome, when are you going to get some wheeling shots or go to Moab or Colorado?! And just so I can contribute to the actual thread, since my flares are gone my wheels stick out just enough where it looks pretty good I think. Attachments:
