iso of factory black running boards..i would prefer tubular over the molded flat units...they are proving hard to find here in wiregrass alabama ..and the few custom truck shops here have fell and bumped their heads with the prices!

So you're taking about the tubular black metal ones seen on the first generation (97-99) right? I want to get rid of mine, but the wife is too short to get in without them. So I may sell mine in the future but not until I source or build some sliders.
They are ridiculous expensive though on average I've seen $250+ for them. Just build or buy some sliders, about twice to three times cost(?) But easily four times the value, usefulness and cool factor

well let me know if you decide to part with them. ive looked for after markets but they are mostly universal and insanely pricey. when you refer to sliders what do you mean?

Ok, youll be the first to know and first dibs, but you may be better off checking out junk yards for montero sports too. When i say sliders i mean rock sliders, usually just round steel tubes or square steel tubes that sit close to the rocker panels and are more often than not welded to the truck frame and in the event that you pass too close to rocks or other objects they can protect your door panels from being pulverized. ES_97sport (edward) on here has them his rig. Check out a post in the off-road section on here, "sliders??" Those would be exactly what I'm talking about.
