I got these Replacement brand fog lamps and this relay harness which says it is compatible with OEM fog lamps and is plug and play, no additional parts or modification on my 2002 Montero Sport. My Montero seems to be prewired for fog lamps because there is a connector in one of the empty switch slots on the left side of dashboard, there is a slot in the fuse box under the hood for the fog lamp but no fuse in it, and I see one brown connector taped to a wire behind the driver side of the grill. How do I connect the fog lamps with the harness I purchased: #1 and #2 connect to the fog lamp I can tell, but I don't know where to connect their little wires with a hole at the end. #3 has a what seems to be a fuse plugged into it (HID 40A/12VDC H4458-12VDC). Do I remove this fuse and plug it into the empty fog lamp fuse slot in the fuse box under the hood? What goes into the brown connector that is behind the grill? I don't see anything here that fits into the brown connector. Where do the two wires in #4 go? #5 appears to have a small fuse in it. Where does it and its second wire with the hole at the end go?

There was a misunderstanding, the harness is for HID bulbs and also doesn't fit into the brown connector of the prewired Montero Sport.

I found all the pars I needed at the u pick it salvage yard close to me. I got the switch, wiring, fuse, and the brackets. Now I just have to buy new lamps and wait until it warms up so I can pull the bumper cover off to install everything
