I couldn't stand those stupid red reflector lights on the rear bumper so I put the round rubber truck lights in.

That is a very good point colted, with it being parked anywhere at night near traffic. I to agree with bd, especially with the 00's and up. Have mine smoked but have been looking for a set of led's that fit there for turn tail and brake that can run off the trailer harness. That does look good though. Functional to at night with dark windows.

Do they illuminate pretty well? Edward I think mentioned this in my thread. Could this replace a back up light on rack for night trail reversing, as we all no isn't very fun with no moon out.

YES! They were pretty dirty in the picture. I have a rear bumper and hitch integrated so I'm not worried about fender benders.lol they were super easy to wire into my trailer lights.;D and the EXTRA cool thing is you can find them at big truck stops any where. You just need the rubber grommets and the lights. Use a hole saw and drill slow. You don't even have to use the small ones. You could get bigger ones. Or use square ones. Whatever you prefer. Enough to be able to back up a 10ft. Trailer up a steep driveway at night. You can put the 4" or 6" ones if you prefer.
