Ok that was exactly why I asked. I was concerned about killing the boots due to pressure

Just do it slowly and it'll be fine.

Correct although some rubber boots have a pressure release on them.

Piggy back on this posting..... So the rear end link bushing has to do anything with the ride height? Are both sides have to tighten equally? Thanks!

Hey gents, what's the best spray lube to use on those rubber link bushings? This was recommended to me... m.summitracing.com/parts/atp-at205Apparently Scotty Kilmer puts it in a spray bottle and sprays on bushings to help restore the rubber and eliminate squeaks.

Piggy back on this posting..... So the rear end link bushing has to do anything with the ride height? Are both sides have to tighten equally? Thanks! No. The end links have nothing to do with ride height. In fact, if its affecting ride height you have a problem. There should be no (or VERY little) tension on the bar when the vehicle is stationary on flat ground. The anti-sway bar only comes into play when the body and axle are working against each other. The only thing you have to remember is to make sure the end links are long/short enough that when lifting/lowering a vehicle the anti-sway bar remains parallel to the ground. If the anti-sway bar is tilted up or down it looses effectiveness. They just need to be snug. Tighten them down until the outside diameter of the rubber bushing as it compresses is even with the inside edge of the washer. So, you have washer, bushing, anti-sway bar/bracket, bushing, washer. As you tighten the end link, the bushings will expand outwards. Tighten until the outside diameter of the bushings is even with the closest edge to the bushing of the washer. If you tighten it down to the point the bushing is squishing out past the washer, they're WAY too tight. There's a torque spec but the above instructions are pretty dang close. This is also the technique for post/bushing shocks and steering stabilizers. Edward

Mine does a similar noise on the front end, sounds like coils rubbing against something or dry shot ball joints. I will try lubing the sway bar bushings.
Very handful thread!
