Sweet ride dude, and these photos your sister took of your car are really good too. Thank you! I really like how the pics came out...I especially like the rolling shots. Its not often you get to see your own ride actually moving from a 3rd person perspective. Like any person mastering their craft she is very critical of her own work.

Are you filipino colted?
I was actually a die hard domestic car fan in my early years...but when I went to the Philippines to visit family and saw a Evo and ride in one, and then a Pajero...I just fell in love with the Mitsubishi brand. My dad has owned a 98 3KGT VR4, a Montero Sport and now a 2004 Montero Limited. My sister owned a Honda Del Sol...then a 2005 Lancer and traded that in and owns a 2012 Lancer GTS. My little sister has owned 2 VW GTi's, a Kia Forte and now a 2015 STi.

Love Evos too, too bad they're killing that model now.....back home, the new Monty is just astoundingly beautiful....also sad that Mitsu can't bring them here and was even closing the US market production.......have you heard about the SUA issues plaguing the new Monty back in our country?

I can understand why Mitsu decided to end production of the Evo. They don't make much profit off the Evo..if anything they probably make even on every Evo they sell. The sport compact catagory is getting aggressive and Mitsubishi would have to invest ALOT to develope a successor to the Evo X in which they are not in a financial position to do so. They are positioning themselves for long term success and growth.
Yes...I am aware of whats going on with Montero Sport over there, but not really deeply informed on whats going on. I think it started with something like with Toyotas "stuck brake pedal" issue but with spontaneous acceleration right?
Monteros weren't selling enough here in the U.S to justify the increasing costs of importing them here to sell for Mitsu. Even though they are well built, reliable and solid vehicles...unfortunately the U.S market at the time just didn't gain traction.

Here is a pic during the holidays when my bro in law and sister drove down their 06 STi and came to my house to install some goodies on it. This was taken during MLK weekend when they came down in my sisters 2015 STi at my parents house.

I am actually looking for another liftgate lens panel with no cracks.
The one on there now had some cracks that were visually a eyesore so I decided to remove it and spray black Plastidip and the cracks are less noticable. I actually ended up liking the blacked out lens panel and may end up doing the same when I find another one.
