Rims and tires are all here, mounted and balanced. Put a bit of protectant on them. All that is left is to finish moding the mud flaps up front and getting the center caps drilled for the locking hubs. I can't wait! !!!!!!!

Within manual locking hubs, modifying the caps were necessary. The added size and offset caused the smallest touch when turning sharply. I had to do a small snip of the back side of the bottom of the bumper and had to shave a tiny bit off the mud flaps to make sure there won't be any rubbing.. talking just a couple milimeters. I wish I did my body lift already and it wouldn't have been a problem. The suspension lift was 99% of what I needed to clear the new rim/tire combo. As for the looks, I love them. The tread is almost spot on with edge of the flares. Agresive pattern but not over the top for an AT tire. Only thing I didn't like was the opening for the lug nuts was smaller than I expected. Most 19mm deep well sockets have too thick of a wall to fit in. So in sandy gravel driveway they are great Lol. Just kidding so far while testing and making sure no rubbing, I have only gone on local roads here only to 50mph. But at those speeds there is 0 noise, handling is greatly improved with the wider stance, and a bit stiffer tires than my winter tires. I will take it for a highway run tomorrow, and hopefully some logging trails this coming week. Hubs finished, just mud flaps left. I will top off the tank tomorrow and start recording my milage for a couple tanks and see if my mpg goes up or down. And give more reviews on how the rims hold up, and how the tires perform. Oh and in the heavy rains we are having now, they performed great.

Looking good man! I need some bigger tires on my rig, but don't have the $600 to pony up for an OME lift and my current tires still have plenty of tread, can't drop $600+ on tires when mine aren't anywhere near slick enough to replace.

Yeah, I have been slowly getting this thing the way I want it for over 3 years now. Knew I wanted bigger tires, so 4.9 gears, intake, exhaust then a lift, all b4 the tires. Since I bought it I used winterforce mud and snows on it. The vehicle came with them and and they were narrower then stock, 245/70r16s. They ended up being year round tires and were pretty good surprisingly. This past year winter I got the 265/70r16s Dunlop SJ6s their version of winterforce mud and snows. I liked the feel of the wider tires, gas milage was pretty close. But wanted actual AT tires for summer and a wider stance if I was going to add height also.
I am glad I did the synthetic swap on transfer and differentials. Then did the intake, and exhaust. And the locking hubs b4 I just got the lift and tires. With the larger size/weight it does effect acceleration, and what I saved in gas as I was doing those upgrades originally have pretty much paid for the other upgrades. I am not sure what my milage is with my current tires. But I was getting 19.8 average mpg with my Dunlop snow tires on the last few weeks. When I purchased the ms 3 years ago I was getting 13 to 14 mpg. So yeahhe the work paid for itself almost.

All in all they came out nice, i do wish the silver fake bolts were blue, but all in do time.
I'm not sure if it is the added width from the sidewall treads, or bad math on my part, but the -6 offset verse the +10 that is stock would be better off being a 0 offset. Granted it was easy mod, but for simplicity I'd recomend about a 1/4 inch less width. Compared to the gas milage with the smaller snow tires it is a slight increase. Not a huge increase but for summer tires of this size and tread I am pleased. About 4 tanks in and still pulling 19.3 to 19.5mpg. Not a full fledged mud tire off road, but do pretty good when the going gets rough. And on road they handle great, dry, wet, on even surfaces, etc. And still are quieter then my exhaust. Might be a smidgen louder then stock exhaust at 55mph+.
On a side note the stock rims are getting powder coated the same color as what the skid plates were done. So my trailer hitch, and rims, skid pkats, and thinking about the bumpers, flares, and running boards, all will be gloss black with blue metal flake. Hopine the new color will look good on the rims with new black lug nuts.

I average mid 19s every day driving, a lot of back and forth to work, a little around town driving a little higheay. Most of the time about 45 to 50 mph average on country roads. Most of the time it's in 2wd. But do some off-roading in 4wd.

01 xls, 3.0 , and has 2wd not awd, and has manual locking hubs, intake, exaust, and synthetic fluids through out, including grease. But not the transmission just normal Mitshubishi stuff for piece of mind. Then because of wheel size I have to multiply the mpg by 1.095 and half the time I use 87 with ethenol, half the time 92 no ethenol. If I don't do much around town driving I get 20.5 haven't done any long trips but assuming straight highway about 23 to 24 but that is just a guess.
