Can I put manual hubs on the front if its AWD? I cant seem to find out if it will burn up the trans or t-case if I get rid of the auto hubs in the front?

I thought the MS Gen2's had flange hubs, not auto hubs.
I did some research before I installed a set of manual hubs on my MS Gen 1. The MS models with the AWD transmissions, had viscous center diff. If the front hubs are disconnected, the front drive shaft and rear drive shafts will rotate at very different speeds. This will over heat the fluid in the center diff.

AWD with Manual locking hubs won't move the vehicle when they are unlocked, and while locked work just like the current stock hub set up. Manual locking hubs only help those that have a 2WD Hi setting on the transfer case.
