I've been thinking of creating an onboard air storage system for the MontyS, using a retired scuba tank for C02 (carbon dioxide). Instead of the Mini compressor. What does the collective think about this 👍👎🤷♂️?

My only concern with this option would explosive power of contained air. I mean scuba tanks can hold 3000 psi. Other than that they are a good alternative and after a while can't be used as underwater tanks.

Afternoon Inmates 🙋♂️, Information update:
Completed the On-board Air kit for the Montero Sport. I found a pristine CO2 tank locally,, $40.00👍. Although it needed certification. The cert./& fill was done at Certified Fire Protection in Las Vegas for $101. total. Refills are $1.93 per lb. of gas @ 10 lbs. The fill service is about $16. The 150psi regulator from Amazon was $57. The tire gauge/filler from Amazon was $26. I had a hose I cannibalized to 8'. The Grand total spent was $241.41 👍 and done! YMMV, cheers 🍻, G.
