Thank God I live in the Pacific Northwest! Everyday is a new microbrew day. (The beer lists at restaraunts are way longer than the food menus.) :DThe stores around here have started stocking them on the shelves alphabetically. Blue Heron, Full Sail Amber, and Widmere Heff - all quality brews, but my all-time favorite is New Castle Brown. Just can't drink more than 6-8 at a time, a little too potent for me.

Cold beer and Free beer are my two favorites. Just finished building a beach in the backyard of my Iowa home. Ordering Palm trees now. Will park the MS nearbye and post some pics with me making my own Corona Comercial... Loren..
Can you guess how many bags of white beach sand it takes to fill a 16' by 16' area. Each bag is .5 cubic ft.
Just so you know, the MS was sagging each trip I took to load it with sand.

Here in Portland, we have access to HUGE variety. IPAs are not my bag, if you know what I mean. If you can gain access, here are a couple that you should check out.
Deschutes Brewing Black Butte Porter (Rated one of the top 5 beers in America by Maxim)
Big Sky Brewing Moose Drool Brown Ale
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Saxer Bock
Big Sky Brewing Summer Honey (Really refreshing)
Widmer Hefeweizen
If you have to choose... get the Black Butte its some good s%!t.

Don't laugh... I can't drink beer. The only time I almost can is if I absolutely have to for politeness, it's a "dry" beer like the Molson Extra-dry (are molson products sold in the States?) and it's freezing cold. Then, and only then, I can drink half of a bottle before it starts warming up and It won't go down anymore... Ain't I weird?
