Sean from Lynden, WA. Been a technician for almost 20 years on American, Japanese, and Euro cars. Spent a brief moment as engineer on a fishing boat in Alaska. Got a 1997 LS from my parent's neighbor in July for free. They purchased it from the local (now defunct) Mitsu dealer in 1997 so I am the second owner which is cool. Only things I have done to it so far is replaced the starter, replaced front pads/rotors, repacked bearings, adjusted steering gear lash, and aligned it. Just got t-belt, water pump, plugs/wires, and valve cover gaskets in the mail today. Then diffs, trans, t-case fluids. Plans are to install an OEM steel bumper off a 2019 Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon I got as a take-off from work. Slap a winch behind that with a 100 amp alt to try and feed it.2 inch suspension lift with 32" tires. The only off-roading I do is logging and fire roads in the Cascades. When I really want to get off the beaten path I take 2 wheels.
