www.bodykits.org claims that it will make a body kit for any vehicle. If 10 people with the same year vehicle will preorder a kit for 675 dinero they will make it for you. They will of course need a "test vehicle" as a template for the body kit. The test vehicle will get the kit for free. Test vehicle must be from the state of California. Just late and I want something new for my MS. I don't live in CA and have no connection with the body kit people. Just found it interesting, and I know how you all want to trick out your MS. Loren

Let us know what you find out RTF. I was concerned after posting this memo as I went back and didn't find any SUV photos. Glad you were able to make contact. Wow a sweet bodykit and Grey leather for a 1000 large. Not a bad days work. Loren

ok...everybody...post a reply that states "pre-order"...we need 10 so everyone interested do it...i'll try all i can to be the test car but the drive is a bit...except i don't have any cash to buy a kit...so once we get all 10...i'm sure it will push me enough to do it...hawkeye...this yur baby...so email the guy and talk to him...does everyone agree that it should replicate the challanger kit? without the foglight housing i think...or maybe a cutout that would allow for our factory ones...and we MUST push for the fenderflares...that makes the kit...ok...lets see how this goes...

RTF, I would appreciate it if you would take the reigns on this one. Since I am a Realtor and take people around to look at houses in my MS, I am trying to keep my ride looking nice, but still somewhat professional. My wife thinks the kit will make me seem somewhat like a college kid like you RTF. Maybe if I hit the mega load on sales in the near future, I can buy a new daily driver and trick out my MS as that's what I really want to do, but damn my wife does make sense sometimes. Let me know. I will do the leg work if you don't want to or someone else doesn't step up. But we must have 10 people with the 700 bucks commit to this or we can't get in the door. Loren

depending on how this goes I might be able to scrape up some money. I really like the one this guy www.cardomain.com/memberpage/525564 has on his MS. I don't care for the big fog lights on the bottom off the challenger kit above since it is problably difficult to locate lights for that specific size. With the one the guy on the website has you are adding to the stock bumper front and rear plus seems more compatible with the first generation MS and 2nd thus reducing the cost of having to make two separate bumpers to accomodate both previous and current front ends.

I was looking at the fender moldings and imo I like my running boards there the XLS type and see the side moldings on the bottom where the running boards will be only damaged by peoples shoes since most of us use are trucks daily with family and friends etc.

Well like I said that is my opinion, but the vehicle the I referenced to on Sound Domain does not have the side skirts and I like it. I am just trying to be visualize real world situations and in mine I have kids riding in my truck and adults too and already when I clean my truck I am having to take the scuff marks off the bottom area underneath the doors from where feet are hitting. I like the side skirts on the show truck but you know most of us are not using our trucks to promote and barely drive we hit these things hard.

i understand what your saying, but maybe you just don't need a kit then...if yur gunna do it, you must be in the position to handle a kit and have it not affect anything...unless your truck is lifted considerablly, then the sidesteps are pointless, and if you have kids and yur truck is your sole transportation, then you should have a body kit in the first place...just saying that if yur gunna dish out $700, then you better be ready for a full kit...

From that conversation you had with the gentleman claiming to be from that company, he seemed very unprofessional and very undecided about everything. I recommend you be very wary.

I live in long beach, less than an hour from Ontario. But i'm not comfortable leaving my MS for a couple weeks to be the test vehicle. I'm interested in a KIT but nothing to extravagant. I'm moving back to San Jose in July so if anyone has any recommendations for a KIT in southern CA....let me know, so I can go check it out.
$700 sounds like alot...especially if it doesn't include paint. In my opinion of course.

As far as agreeing on the style it was just input that I had. As always if I purchase the kit and don't like the side skirts I have friends that do body work and can adjust it to my liking just like everybody else. The important thing is to get a kit from there minor adjustments can be made by each individual. I don't see a problem on this and encourage everybody to stay positive and make this work.
