Easy to install on the driver side, passenger side is a bit of a pain in the rear. The fog lights make a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference and actually do something, unlike the factory driving likes on our WJ Grand Cherokee! (the driving lights on our grand cherokee stink, big time, been replaced with IPF lights though on an ARB bull bar with winch ) that is a SMOKIN' deal on the fog lights. Jump all over that!!

BB- I also am not fond of the cost of factory fog lights. While I do not know where to find a different kit, I can share my experience with you. I purchased just a regular aftermarket set of fog lights from my local auto parts store. I fabricated all of my own brackets and cut the fog light grills myself. I am very pleased with the final outcome however, I would like to get a set of the factory grills. I will be able to make the current ones work and look good...I just think the factory grills will look better.
If you are interested, I will take some pictures of my work and send them to you. I may even do a write up for DIY if there is interest. Seem's Yoshi's write up was DIY for the factory kit.
The driver's side was a piece of cake. The passenger side took a bit more engineering. Not sure I'm totally happy with the entire set up of the passenger side, but the light is very solid and will likely remain until spring. I may further modify it at that point.
Total cost for me...approx. $50.00 (cost of the lights). Bracket material was scrap from my father's work.
Take care- Matt

Does anyone have a DIY on fractory fog lights staying on by themselves? Switching them on/off without the headlights going on/off?

well I don't know how the factory fogs are set up but all you'd have to do is tap into a different hot wire besides the headlight wire
