man, there is a much easier way to do all of that! I like where you're going with things, but if you were to split and trim the evo bumper, and back graft it into the stock bumper, you could get away with not having to scab as much filler in, and could get less of a catfish front end. Have you ever considered a basic vacbag setup? I think with as much as you like playing in the glass (as I do, and carbonfiber/kevlar) it could benefit you in the future. Just an idea.

the prob with bringing it back is it will not sit right in the corners. it is about flush there, i ws toying with kutting the center out and pulling it back. but i think ill loose detail. as for the filling it isnt a lot really the fiberglass saves alot of that, even if i did get it farther back i would still have to do a good amount of filling to cover the stock bumper. i am kinda torn now. it it growing on my having the front end out so far. but i saved my old bumper suport to cut up and see if i want to do that. however im not so sure as what ya meen by the vac bag set up is but i would like to know cuz u may be right! im all about learning something new, especully if i can use it to make multiples. also if u are into carbon fiber, where can i get some resin? i have the cloth but dont have the resin and want to make some stuff out of it. we will have to chat cuz im sure u can give me alot of ideas if u play with that stuff! thanx guys Oz

I used to build those, so I have a good amount of experience with part layup, mold making, vacuum bagging, and otherwise. Basically vac bagging eliminates the need to work out air bubbles, and it rapidly decreases the wait time for the resin to set. You put a layed up part in a mold, into a bag, seal it off, hook up a vacuum pump, and there you have it. The bag forces all air bubbles and extra resin out of the part. Sweet deal, kinda spendy though.
