Well my '97 MS is on it's way out and the new 2005 AWD Endeavor Limited is in - the garage that is....
First impressions... It's much larger, more headroom. With each vehicle side by side in the driveway the difference is quite a bit... The ride is better and the handling is quite a bit better... The power is MUCH better and the sporttronic is a nice feature.... Scared the S*** out of my son today having some fun with it... I hope the reliability is the same, My '97 had been great and with 96,000 it looks and runs great... No mechanical problems(just leaf springs and ball joints) and the engine is still very tight and quiet... I hope to get about $6,000 for it on the market.
There is a real annoying(to me anyway) light that stays lit on the dash when no passenger is present in the passenger seat warning you the the airbag is disabled... It's annoying because at night the entire dash and cener control console is lit a dark blue(very nice) and if there is no passenger this bright orange light stays lit telling you the airbag is off.... It will be a shame to cover it with a piece of tape.... And even the owners manuel says not to "cover it with a piece of tape".
Overall it's a sharp / well appointed SUV but I hope it will stand the test of time like my MS.

I used to work for a traffic reporting service here and one of our 'road units' for when we couldn't fly was an Endeavor. I drove it for a few days last summer as a flood totalled out my old Nissan. I thought it was really nice over all.
