where you been dsm? i thought you gave up and went back to gvr4's and evo's. ;D
my 1st case and tail housing are from a 2001 cherokee. since the trans is out of an older sport, i'm using bretts controller in manual only mode. no factory computer, so i didnt need to worry about the tailshaft speed sensor, or any other sensor. bretts controller just energizes the seliniods to make her shift, or lock t/c, when i press a button. i still have to figure out a way to make the speedo work. i'll get more pics soon.
where you at on yours?

You should be able to find a Dana44 for $100-$150, call your local junkyards.

Sweet is the width of the dana 44's the same as the rear on our sports? I think it should be. Would a jeep cherokee have the same type axle?

The easiest swap axle is the mid 80's Wagoneer. Make sure it is not a vacuum disconnect axle or a full time 4x4 axle. The Waggy's are the correct width and bolt pattern, and set up for leaf springs.

That looks like an insane truck to take offroad. Probably not worried too much about what you can go through. Do you take it down to attica most of the time or is there other areas you go to? Nice work.
