Okay so I want to clean my Oem 15 inch wheels thoroughly of the brake dust and other crap that is on them. I know muratic acid is just hydrochloric acid just diluted and I dont want to ruin the paint on my wheels. I am tired of using simple green and orange glow. I want something that will clean them good!! Any suggestions?

tried that. wont touch the brake dust. Maybe I just need to get a brush and a cordless drill to polish them.

ever try "wesly's bleach white" new car dealers have something similar, it's pink, acidic, and is very strong when undiluted. you could have them powder coated, if all else fails.

OK bd, I know you just sold your Monty, but.... for everyone else: Find a high end accessories store that specializes in Mercedes and BMW. They will have an acid wheel cleaner called P21. Best I've ever used. There is another one from Eagle, (available in regular parts stores), but it isn't as aggressive.

I use the Wesley Bleach White for white wall tires all the time on the wheel and the "black" wall tires. It does clean the brake dust off nicely off the wheels and the black wall tire too
