Yes everything back there got filler plates welded in, and where the cage passes through the body there are plates welded inside and out.

Yea it is some next level fabricating work. The welds look as if they were done by a robot.

Thanks! Honestly though I started out like anyone else that cruises the forums. Pirate4x4, 4x4wire and offroadfabnet is all the schooling i ever had on welding and fabricating. Bought myself a chinese ebay mig welder and got my tukas into the garage, after being motivated by ES97Sport's sweet axle swapped rig. 31's and air bags in the rear coils. 2003ish?? First time road test after sas, 2007. Too tall, the body lift came off when i built the cage. The draglink/panhard angles were way off, had to lower the frameside panhard mounting location like 6" before driving anymore.

First time wheeling on the axle swap, winter '07. Went to the badlands with NathanC in his 95 SR on 35's(first dual tcase Montero)and Tag in his 88 Raider from 4x4wire. And, of course my buddy and hix X(first time out on his axle swap, too.

New for 2020, working on a winch install with dual odyssey batteries. Replacing all suspension joints, they're all worn out.
