Hi, dead forum!
We just bought a 2012 Outlander SE... We had the impression that the backseats could fold down flat. From gushing reviews about cargo space, pictures that came up with the model, etc ... But, nope. Unless Im missing something, they stupidly fold down & tumble against the front seat.
It is as if the engineers were trying to fold an origami swan, made it three steps in, crumbled the piece of paper up & said, "eh, good enough!".
It makes zero sense.
We need the cargo space.
Is there a way for us to remove the seats without ruining them or rendering them unsafe to be reinstalled if they needed to be?
