Hi Guys,
Is there a particular trailer hitch we should get so as to ensure that it doesn't interfere with our emergency tire on the bottom of the trunk? Thanks !!

Any of the new body mount receivers should be fine, I would think. The one on mine is really old. and also acts as a bumper guard from underneath. Most shops that install them should let you know what P/N you would need then you could go from there.

Hi Guys, Is there a particular trailer hitch we should get so as to ensure that it doesn't interfere with our emergency tire on the bottom of the trunk? Thanks !! Any hitch you put on is going to interfere with getting the spare in and out. You're adding another 4-6" to the bottom of the bumper fascia, so.... I got to experienced the joy of pulling the spare out of my '03 for the first time with the stock hitch. Blea. I've been useing a Hidden Hitch on my big '97 for 12-13 years. IMHO, it's a lot nicer than the boxy square ones. And, they are right about it being more out of the way when not in use. Both my little '97 and '03 have the square hitches and they stick out and get in the way. I also like this one because while it does a very good job of protecting the plastic fascia off road, it also doesn't stick out as much and add places to hang up on or catch rocks, etc. I can dump the entire weight of my big Sport on this hitch coming off a ledge and only end up with a slight scuff on the hitch. Good Evening Edward and Mudrunner, Thanks for the replies! I ordered this one: www.ebay.com/itm/360703033299?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649I'm excited to install it this upcoming week ! I'm an avid cyclist and I'm excited to actually be able to attach my recently purchased bike hatch to my new hitch. Planning to go up north to Wisconsin this Labor Day Weekend and go camping. Best, Renzo
