Well, my no start turned into little more work than I am ready to take on for the moment. I brought it up to a local mechanic and they determined it needed a new crank sensor, but weren't sure if that was the only issue. Estimate was $1,200, including a T-Belt job, $700 just for the CPS. I declined and brought it back home, wasn't ready to spend that kind of money on a 'maybe'.
My truck has 150k miles, really nice and tons of tread left on Hankook Dynapro 265/75/16s. Engine and transmission were both running fine. Junk yard offered me $350, but I'd like to get around $700 or so. If you are in the area and have any questions, give me a call.
