1992 Montero, where is this relay connector located?(

Can't promise it is the same on a 92 but on my 95 it is up by the EMC above the glove box. There is a connector under the hood behind the passenger side cylinder bank that will "turn on" this relay if you jump power to it under the hood from the battery. It's purpose is to test and or pressurize the fuel system after pump/filter replacement. I mention this because you can use this connector with a starter bump-button to make the relay "click" when looking for it. This relay is normally driven by the ECU so you should look at an electrical diagram to find out what pins are involved. Be sure to use a meter or electronic version of a test-light as using a "bulb-type" test light can overdraw and destroy the circuits in the ECU. Again, mine is a 95 and may be different from yours.
