The glove box latch & locking mechanism is stuck. it acts like its locked but isnt. i tried a little graphite in the keyhole,but no effect. Has anyone solved this issue befor with theirs?

I actually had to remove my latch mechanism because it was sticking, although it stuck while it was open not closed. You could try shooting some WD40 into the sides while the buttons are pushed in, then try working them loose.

Its done this a couple times now . thx

Nothin helped,butif I wait 1 to two minutes the latch slowly returns to its standard operating position and stays closed.Its just slow at returning .

WD40 is likely to gum up the lock. If it were my rig, I would remove the lock from the glovebox. Then use some brake cleaner or similar cleaner to clean up the lock. Let the lock completely dry. Then use a dry lubricant like graphite or silicone.
