Thanks for posting that link, been looking for lift kits and not having much luck. Guess there's just not a lot of aftermarket support for a vehicle that's no longer sold in the US. That's not a bad price at all for the complete kit and it appears to be well-made. I want to raise mine up as well so I can throw some larger tires on it. No problem. I think all or most of us on here had questions about lifting our Montero Sports and we've all done our own research only to find the same very little out there. What REALLY makes this frustrating is seeing all these super cool lifted and outfitted MS's (called Pajero's) in other countries. I belong to a Pajero/Challenger group on Facebook and they have some super sweet rides in that group! Seems most members are in Australia, as are most of the cool parts they put on.

Thanks, just sent a join request to a couple of Facebook groups and both seem to be pretty active. Will be a great source for some mod ideas.

Fair warning... there is not alot of love for the sports on the fb groups. most of my questions go unanswered, or I get told to use a manual. So do some research before you ask. Thay are mostly full-size folks. This forum, though not as active as it was in the past, has alot or information and is a valuable resource

I plan to just look and not say much on the FB groups. It's a shame that this forum isn't as active as it has been in the past, but yes, a lot of great info here. I've read through your threads regarding all the troubles and mods that you've done to your own Sport. Lots of ups and downs, and the end result looks great.

Yes expedition forums threw me alot of shade... not all of us are taught mechanics or had family that taught them. I can only learn by seeing... visual learning. Manuals are a bit lean on pics and that throws me for a loop. So j ask questions...
I'm self taught female and usually guys won't bother to really take me seriously and teach ... more like coddle.
Thanks for the compliment... still alot to go... I just need a buddy to assist with the suspension lift & spoiler install... that is once I get its p300 issue sorted

Thanks for the compliment... still alot to go... I just need a buddy to assist with the suspension lift & spoiler install... that is once I get its p300 issue sorted I was fortunate in that my father taught me a lot of things and I try to pass that knowledge along whenever possible. Too bad that some others don't do the same. We all benefit from sharing info. I have to say, I cringed when seeing your Sport buried in mud. I've (stupidly) done that to a few vehicles back in the day and have always paid the price for it one way or another in some sort of immediate or future mechanical failure. They never seem to be quite the same after that... The 2" suspension lift you're planning to install is going to look great with the existing 2" body lift. P0300? Seen your thread on it, but haven't ready through all 9 pages. Have you replaced the Ignition Module yet?

I replaced the ignition module and all 3 coil packs... it did not help.
In my mind, I'm leaning more to a fuel delivery issue. If the dang truck had a Schrader valve, I have a fuel gauge.
I pulled a few mass air sensors from the junk yard. I plan to swap them around as an additional test. Wish I had a known good vehicle local, to parts swap with, for better elimination of good versus bad parts.

4Crawler (Paul) has great lift kits for our sports and he is swapping my 1'' for a 2 inch as we speak. And he is very knowledgable. Will check the link above though. As far as lifting the body lift is going to be the ticket. I have had vibration issues on the 97 and 01 by tweeking them =/-2'' Michael

Started dealing with the driveline vibration issues. Just lowering the torsion bars an inch helped quite a bit. Though the 285/75/16 will scuff on bumpturn. Before and after driveline angles.
