Just went to Lowes this morning hoping to get my key duplicated again.....they checked it and said it has a chip on it....and no can do... Does that key you had cut at Mall of Georgia work by itself to start the truck without immobilizing it. Lowes and home depot will not cut car keys in my experience. Try one of the smaller independent hardware stores.

Never had to mess with the immobilizer since the first day I got the truck from a Mr. Transmission owner in Roswell..all I knew is that it actually has power locks but I don't have the remote either.....don't have any problem using both keys.
They do cut car keys, just the non-chip ones......was actually cheaper like just $2 each.
