I have a 1997 Montero Sport that I have been looking for some type of after market bumper or bull bar that i can add onto my vehicle. Anyone have a good link to site with these? I have been looking for months and can not find anything for the 1997 series.

ARB bars are. I've also been hit twice and winched out a number of jeeps. Lol:-/ yes they are heavy but the deep gearing and high torque makes up for it. An SAS is due soon on mine so 5.38 will be added.;D there aren't many options for these vehicles even though they can outperform a number of off road vehicles consistently.

That sure looks heavy on a 2 ton 170hp truck The ARB isn't quite as heavy as it looks, but it is still heavy. 1) XD9000 winch - replace the cable with 'rope' 2) Air intake conversion 3) Exhaust conversion 4) Manual locking hubs The last three will free up enough power that you'll still feel like your Sport got a boost, even after adding the winch and bumper. Note: You WILL need to replace the stock torsion bars with higher rate bars to support the bumper and winch. The stock ones will last for a while, but not indefinitely. Edward

Superwinch used to make them for the Montero (worked on ours), but discontinued production a while ago. Anyway, you find the Aisins on eBay every so often. Edward

So nobody knows where to get a grill guard for the 97 LS? Try amazon. I think I saw one there yesterday. Otherwise, I have no use for them so I don't pay much attention. Edward
