Man that's a lot to ask. That axle would have to be torn out of there. If you can grab the switch and the air pump though!!

It did not look like it would work in my 3rd member. .... It depends on the year Montero, but the 3rd member will work in our Sports. Get with the guys on 4x4 Wire. They'll know. Edward

Well I counted 11 bolts holding the pig in. And guess I need to look into it next free day. I'm going back to that location next free day. They actually had a couple 97-98 4 wd and I will look for more dipsticks.

They actually had a couple 97-98 4 wd and I will look for more dipsticks. I wished I remember all this stuff but its been more than a decade. When I was looking at swaps years ago, I THINK I came up with the '95/96 Montero fitting the '97 Sport. I remember vaguely some discussion a few years ago on 4x4 Wire that that extended to '97, and maybe '98. I can't remember if the '94 Montero also fit or not. If you can dig it out, I know all this is still on 4x4 Wire. Edward

4x4 wire is just a major pain to even try to sign up for. Wonder if just differentials would know?

I'm just going to measure width, and see if I can find a gear ratio. Can't be more than $150

Checking ARB site, both are 28 spline, 1.20'' / 30.5 long. Mine and the triton/L200 which is the body I'm looking at. ? Might be interesting, where is the pump ? Under the seat?
