First thing I'd do is ship that thing straight down the the dealership and have a competent tech do a once-over. That's going to be a lot cheaper than you chasing your tail. The easiest way to start diagnosing some of this stuff is with a scanner like ScanXL. Something that lets you do a real time look into what everything's doing. Which isn't going to be cheap, hence, spending $150 for a tech to just figure out everything, write it down and then you'll know. This things sounds like a worse basket case than my new '99. I just made sure that all the 'issues' were in the suspension and drive train. Still cost $9K to get it all fixed. Edward That sounds like a good idea ? I might just for the heck of it pull a plug wire from a coil one by one and see if I get a change in RPM maybe and hopefully it's misfire issue So get this haha I unplugged each wire from the plug from right to left as soon as I unplugged the first one to the right the entire engine smoothed out and ran perfect. Now the middle coil I got no spark from. From either of the two wires. Just the left farthest coil pack and the farthest right coil pack but not the middle one. I think the middle coil pack may be the culprit

So I put in a new center coil and still no spark. The ignition control modual is brand new but I found two electrical taped wires not sure if that could be the issue. Any ideas? Thanks!! I also hear a sucking noise from the rear of the motor, sounds like a vacuum leak

Well last night I decided to pull everything apart lol. I found the plugs were very very black!! No oil in the wells but still going to change them and the valve cover gasket. I saw that the timing belt is very cracked and I'm going to change that too but I think I'll leave the head gasket alone and try a cooling flush first. Hopefully this will help the truck run better. Also before I pulled everything apart I got a system too lean code and I heard something sucking in from the right side, rear of the motor ( if you have any ideas what that could be don't be afraid to chime in ) also if there's a write up on timing belt procedures that would help a lot too Thanks a bunch

There's a step by step on YouTube. Buggzy did it. Also make sure to remove the radiator completely from the car and GENTLY wash it from the inside out. Easy to bend them fins> Sent from my SM-N900V using proboards
