Rancho and KYB most certainly make shocks for the Sport. As does Monroe and Gabriel. So does OME. KYB gas-adjust shocks are the 'stiffest'. OME are a bit down from there. The Monroe and Gabriel class are pretty much OEM replacements. No one has swapped the coils for leafs. I've thought of it on my '03 Limited but that's an emergency vehicle. I don't drive it enough to bother investing the time, effort or money. It is possible and it wouldn't even be that hard. Just not worth it to me. Easier to just go buy a Gen 1. Rancho RS9000s are the most flexible as they're adjustable. Edward If Rancho makes shocks and there are KYB gas a just can you show me where to purchase them? Because according to both companies own product catalogues they don't. Someone listed the P/Ns for KYB on here not too long ago. I only use the KYBs on my 'Bird so I didn't pay too much attention to who or when. Might be under the 'off road' section. Thanks jkdv8! Tokico was the other one I was thinking of and couldn't remember the name. For Rancho 9000s, take the measurement of a front and rear shock, and match it up on Rancho's site and take the P/N down to wherever you plan to buy them. Rancho Catalog 2015You will need what type of mount on both ends, extended length and compressed length measured from center of the 'eyes' and body length. Lengths don't have to be exact to the 9th decimal point. Nearest 1/8 inch or so; you can use a tape measure. Edward

Ive found the cheaper KYB shocks. Orileys and Autozone carry those. But KYB doesn't have have any other ones listed.

KYB list the measurements on their catalog so maybe if I call Rancho up they will be nice and research it for me.

No problems Edward.
Try pulling the specs on a shock that is a known fit compare them.
