I want to swap to a 31x10.50r15 on my 01 3.5xs 4wd Sport (currently running 265/75r16 on factory wheels). I really like the look of the factory 15" wheels that came on the older sports like this . Question is, will these work on the newer 01 Sports with 31x10.50s? I would liek the tire to sit fairly flush with the fender flares and clear the brakes (not sure if those stayed the same throughout the years). Thanks!

Not 100% sure. I do know that the bolt pattern, offset, etc won't be the issue if there is one. It will be clearance for the rotots/brakes.

Do you know why? Do they not clear the calipers?

I believe the rotors are different sizes which would push the caliper out

The XS like the xls and limited use the larger 16" wheels and larger brakes I believe. I do know there are some exceptions to this general rule for which brakes came on which year and models. Mine I know uses the larger brakes therefor no chance of putting 15s on it.

calipers too big, had a nice set of 275/75/16 Michelins I wanted to put on my white one. (gringos don't buy cars with mixed tires) The one's off the white97 are new in rear and fine in front though not matching. they would have worked fine till the red01 was ready for big whls/tires
