Okay I hope this is not against the rules, if so please remove the post.... I bought a set of CD's from a guy on e-bay check it out here cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6762&item=2400572713They are not bad tools, read the description on the auction... I paid $25 + $5 for shipping, the actual shipping cost was only $2. To install you need to have a floppy drive that can be run AT THE SAME TIME as a CD drive. I was trying to get a copy of somthing similar from a member of the board before but it did not pan out, if anyone here would like a copy I will do it for $7.00 total, I am not trying to make any $$ on this just recover some of my expense, I will do this for the first 4 people that e-mail me at xellis@yahoo.com and ask. We can work out payment terms etc... again I hope this is okay to post, I don't want to make 30 copies and sell them just a few to make it cheap for several of us on the board. I am willing to take the time and buy blanks to do it for a few folks. If you have a specific ?? about the set let me know, I have not used them much (just got them) but again they seem to have lots of info. There are 2 floppy disks and 2 CD's that make it work, other models are covered on the CD's. Anyway, let me know. Scott

Hey Scott,
moving this thread to the Classified section.
Also, this sounds like a good idea trying to help out other members, but be careful of the copyright laws.

Would this happen to be the Mitchell on-demand repair CD? I bought the same thing but found out it didn't contain much for the later year models (I have a 00 MS), mostly TSB's. Definitely helpful for the older models, as a matter of fact, the older the model the more info you'll find, right?

Yes it is the Mitchell set.... and I have not used it much... too busy to look around a lot but yeah from what I see you are right about the older models having more info.
That is why I thought that hey if we can spread it around cheap its okay.... I think $5 is worth it.

If a copy of the CD is still availabe, I would like to purchase one. I have a 2000 LS. I need some help with minor items and it would be worth seeing what it says about the 60,000 mile expence I have coming.
Thanks, Fish
