This is rather random.
My friend's 6 month old Chevy Crew Cab 2500 got stolen this morning. Apparently one of the subcontractor's helpers he hired to put the flooring in his house stole a set of keys, his wife's passports, check book about 3 weeks ago. He didn't have the $ to re-key the truck immediately and today the truck was stolen (no evidence of broken glass - 2+2 = keys). He know's who stole the stuff because she was caught on video trying to wire money to herself. But she's run to Wisconsin so it's doubtful she'll get caught. People suck.
Word's of wisdom, use licensed contractors and stay home when you have work done on your house.

Sweet crackers, that sucks! I would go insane if that happened to me... I hope they get whats comming to them. Prison is too good for scum like that! People with no guilt or morals deserve no pity, they don't even belong in society.

Well, I can hardly believe it. They found my friend's truck 5 streets from his house. Bad part is all of his belongings were removed (no more golf) and they left all of the windows down during the last heavy rain. My buddy was going to try to keep the truck but when he got in it the smell was..... well, no good. Insurance wouldn't pay to replace the interior only clean it and he figured the smell would most likely come bak 6 months down the road.
Also, they caught some of the people that were using his CC and check book.
Anyways... It's good to know that sometimes the bad guy doesn't get away with it.
